Make your way through a challenging obstacle course for the undead

Ben and Ed is a 3D platformer game in which players control Ed to help him reunite with his best friend Ben. There is a catch, however: Ed is a zombie and is competing in a grotesque gameshow called “Rundead” in which he must make his way through challenging obstacles put in place by the host, Hans Showmaster, in order to reach Ben. With tons of different and unique obstacles, Ben and Ed is a fun yet challenging game that provides players with all sorts of excitement.

Race to the finish

Ben and Ed is both an action-packed platformer and story-driven game that offers players the best of both worlds. With emotional motives, it’s easy to want to help Ed the zombie make his way through the obstacle course that is “Rundead” in order to save his best friend Ben. Jump, crawl, dodge and more as you narrowly miss all of the obstacles and machines thrown at you. If you’re hit, don’t worry—losing limbs doesn’t mean you die because you’re already dead.

Fun for (almost) the whole family

While the game may seem morbid at first glance, the developers insists it’s really a game for the whole family. Once you get past the initial concept, Ben and Ed is really just a fast-paced game that offers challenging gameplay, set against a colourful and lively backdrop. Controls can be learned easily and quickly but mastering the game will prove to be a challenge.

PROS

  • Lots of different levels
  • Playing without body parts makes it harder to die

CONS

  • Controls don’t always work
  • Can become repetitive
